The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and ICAR – National Research Center on Camel, organized a stakeholder workshop on ‘Strengthening Camel Milk Value Chain in India’ in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Objective of the Workshop
The workshop aimed to facilitate discussions among key stakeholders to address challenges in the camel milk industry and explore sustainable solutions for its growth. The focus was on:
• Strengthening the non-bovine (camel) dairy sector.
• Highlighting the nutraceutical and therapeutic benefits of camel milk.
