Animal Welfare Board of India Partners with NALSAR University for Legal Training
The Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NALSAR University of Law to provide professional legal training to individuals supporting District Societies for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCAs) and State Animal Welfare Boards. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance legal expertise among animal welfare advocates, strengthening efforts to protect animals across India.
Key Highlights of the Partnership • Specialized legal training will be provided to civil society members actively involved in animal welfare. • Upon completion, AWBI will issue Honorary Animal Welfare Representative (HAWR) certifications, based on assessments conducted by NALSAR.
